Now I will put the scenario why reservation is needed... For so many years the dalits were opressed by the so called Upper Castes. They were denied basic education for so many years and hence it is very rational to argue that reservation is really necessary for those people.. Because they cannot compete with the same level of intellect of the Upper caste(there may be some exceptions), but it is only fair to give them a share of their right which has been denied for them for ages...
Now the scenario is that the reservation has been around for 50 years, and when the reservation was introduced, it was agreed that it would be gradually removed as the dalits and other opressed people get economically and socially powerful. But that has not happened!!! the reason being the reservation has only reached a small portion of the dalits viz. the creamy layer.
Assume this case, a person X uses the reservation and becomes economically a strong person and now he should be able to take care of his family, but even his son claims the reservation and this follows through generation and only these small group of people are enjoying the fruits of reservation..
i belong to the Open Community(in ur language Brahmin).. I am not opposed to reservation, but I am opposed to the creamy layer getting reservation... The present form of reservation is blind and does not take into account so many poor brahmins who cannot afford good education.. All brahmins are not doing good. The best solution would be to have apart of reservation based on the caste(excluding the creamy layer) and having the other part based on the economic status of the candidate's family....

It is all politics. If brahmins can unite and create a vote bank that can influence the outcome of the elections only then the politicians will show interest in their cause. If Muslims and schedule caste can rip the benefits of being a minority, brahmins have all the rights in the world to follow the same game. The idea of reservation is a big insult for the people involved but it's the their selfishness that makes them political beggars.

Its because its not nice for having reservations for Scs and STs.Let me make it clear to you!SCs and Sts are not eligible .They are like headlongs .They depend on the reservations only! They don't even work hard and yet they get it the easy way. Bramhins don't mind if they are educted and if they to are having Merit but you see, their life is full of reservations! The SCs and STs don't work sincerely. And if you keep on reserving, they think that they need not work hard! Many government jobs are reserved for them and they take bribe! Its the question of my country's future! They take bribe inspite of their legal earnings! They are lazy to thecore b'coz my country fails to reserve for the bright(the low income group) who are willing to learn but not for those people! Tht's why there is no end to corruption in India!I wish all SCs and STs shall get brains of Dr.Ambedkar so that they come up in life as servie minded people !MERA BHARATH MAHAN!

Reservations are legislative (not administrative or judiciary) response to historical social injustices to certain sections of the society for the past 4000 years.

The best alternative to reservations is inter-caste or inter-religious marriages.

see guy. brahmin population is smaller in india. iam a brahmin.
reservation makes the cast not to survive in the life. when people of this cast gets 80 percent of marks he cannot get in to the medical college but when a *se/st* cast gets 40% of mark he can get in to a medical college. the government can put an order that people who are above 80% can get in why they are not , they need the vote number of vote because people belonging to these *se/st* cast are more in population ............iam not mentioning that these cast is too poor iam just saying that please it is difficult for us ...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................thinkkkkkkkkkkk...............................................................................................
