1. Before going to the interview, find out a little bit about the company. Call the company and ask whoever answers the phone what the company is about, and why they like working there.
2. Show confidence, but don't be cocky.
3. When you shake hands, don't crush the interviewer's hand, but be firm. You can learn quite a bit about a person by the way he/she shakes your hand. Also, look the interviewer in the eye while shaking and say hello, good morning, good afternoon, etc.
4. Keep your answers short and concise.
5. Be ready to explain why YOU are a good choice to fill the position for which you are applying.
6. ASK FOR THE JOB!!!!! You would be surprised at how many people don't even ask for the job during an interview.
Make sure there are no errors on your resume, or cover letter.

There's a lot that you could do if you haven't done anything already.
1. Go over your resume and be ready to talk about each point with concise stories showing results.
2. Have a friend (or two or three...) ask you interview questions and provide you with feedback on how to improve.
3. Get the book Power Interviews. It's one of my favorites.

I agree w most everything already stated here, but would also add: Be prepared to answer....what are your ten strongest skills? What are your three greatest weaknesses?
In addition....if you have any liabilities...such as being fired, job hopping, missing a qualification, low college GPA, etc...Be prepared to address them!! Good Luck!!

First of all, dress for success. Be clean and well groomed to make a good first impression.
Second, be relaxed, confident and courteous in the interview.
Third, if you don't know something, admit you don't know it but want to learn more about it. Try to find out what their expectations are for an employee.
Good luck to you!

keep in mind to answer everything with +=common sense=+. Be open and appear interested. Ask alot of impressive questions...(for that you need to do a lot of reasearch first) (eg. "according to what I read on the news... your company is... blablabla... what is your opinion on that... \blablabla... / can you tell me more about your management strategy which leads to the increase in your operating margin.. blablabla").
keep in mind that, if you don't get it, then don't sweat it! life goes on! you just wanna find a company who likes you the way you are.
