Can anyone tell me the cost of dial up on the phone bill? Can you break it down to the hour? Or something like that.

I have heard cable is much cheaper, and this is not my computer.

I am hoping not to have to feel real guilty being on this much, cause I am on hour after hour!

Hope that doesn't come to hundreds or something! OMG!

These days DSL is cheaper/faster then dialup.
In some areas you can get $15-$25 a month unlimited use (DSL or Cable that is)

Our local ISP charges $18.94 flat rate per month for unlimited high speed dial up. It is a separate bill from our phone bill. I don't know of any ISP that charges by the hour, so I think you will be fine on that point. DSL would probably be a better deal and a whole lot faster, but we live out in the boonies and can't get it in our area!

Have to know which ISP you are using for dial up but most of them are a flat fee per month, not by hour. Around $10 to $21.00 per month.
