Once i meet a movie star, it was at Florida in a really big and fancy hotel. I meet John Schneider, you know the one off of Smallville and the old Dukes of Hazard. It was really cool to meet him because we were the only ones meeting him, like there wasn't a big crowd waiting to meet him. It was so awesome!!! We got to shake his hand and we even got a pictuer. Also we had time to talk with him for a while. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Well I have met a fair few. Some due to the work I was doing, and most just randomly in New York City. Here are my ones not due to my work (I was once a semi-professional music photographer, meeting most top musicians of the day).

Adam Sandler - I met him at the press junket for Happy Gilmore (this was sort of for a job), but he was meeting with college students who worked for their newspapers. I have a tape of his conversation with me, where he basically sang to me and kept commenting about my boobs!

Julia Roberts - met in the bathroom of all places at the 2nd day of a new restaurant opening. 10 seconds later, Sarah Jessica Parker walked in. Wasn't shocking to see a celebrity that night, just shocking to be at the mirror and have Julia Robert's say 'Good Evening'

Woody Harrelson/Steve Buscemi - used to see them all the time on the subway usually the number 2 or 3 train. Woody is a funny, crazy guy!

Star Jones - Worst celebrity I have ever met!! Honestly she was a stuck up *****! And it is a stretch for me to call her a celebrity!

I went to high school with Tom Welling (I was a year ahead of him) - does that count?? He wasn't famous at the time, but yes, I did know him and his family.

Jason Priestly/Jennie Garth/Ian Ziering - this is dating me a bit, but back when 90210 was the hottest show....they were all in Detroit signing autographs at the Detroit Auto Show.

I met the cast of Night Court on the set back in 1990. I loved the tall bald guy, whose name escapes me now.

Outside of my office in New York, I've seen the likes of Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, Wesley Snipes and John F. Kennedy Jr.....(only was able to get Michael Jordan's autograph - which was cool).

Sandra Bullock/Hugh Grant - for two days of shooting, my company allowed the crew to use our catering facilities. I had to oversee it for the day, and got to meet both of them. Sandra is so down to earth!!

I rarely get star struck anymore - but I met Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise (when they were married) outside of Nicole's broadway show - and I never thought Nicole was all that attractive, but without make-up, she was absolutely stunning - I was a bit star-struck at that moment....and even Tom was cool, before he got a bit wacko.

Have a great New Years!

Don't know about "star" but...:
I live in southern Oklahoma, and quite some time ago I ventured north too our state capital, OKC. I took a wrong turn and ended up lost, so I pulled into a convenience store for directions. When I walked in the clerk was in the back so I went to grab a soda. Someone entered the front of the store, the clerk wasn't back, so I asked the guy for directions; he seemed vaguely familiar. It wasn't until a week later that I heard Mucully Culkin(spelling?) had been arrested for drugs in OKC, the light flickered in my head and I had a good laugh.

I keep seeing 7 of nine from Voyager, the star trek show, all over the city of Toronto, she drives a PT Cruiser with an Ontario license plate that states "IM SEVEN". I see her usually everyday on the way to work and yesterday she was shopping in the same Dominion grocery store I shop at. Small world big city.

I met Lucy Lawless (Xena Warrior Princess) at Universal Studioes, but there was a little bit of a crowd around her. I still got to take a picture and shakes hands and stuff, but it would have been cooler if there weren't so many people. She's so much taller in person, and kind of hot.

I once met Pierce Brosnan while taking a tour of the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. He was there with his fiancee at the time, they were attending an event being held there to honor the Dolly Llama.

Clint Eastwood at his bar in Carmel. Bam Margera and his Uncle Phil at FDR Skatepark in Philly (If you can consider him a movie star)

Denied James Garner access to a club house bathroom at Pebble Beach Pro-Am and, almost got hit by a sliced golf ball by Hal Linden.

Partied my butt of with animal activist (and extremely sexually aggressive) Susan Richardson redhead from eight is enough.

Thats about my brush with the stars :)

My friend and I spotted John Travolta at a hotel in Hawaii about 3 years after Saturday Night Fever came out (and Travolta was hot hot then!). We both decided we had to meet him. Walked up to him, he gave us a dazzling smile, and I was tongue-tied but my friend said "you sure can dance" and he threw back his head and laughed and said thank you very much. We knew enough to move off while we were ahead. I"ve met several others, Bill Cosby, Bob Hope, but another favorite was when I met James Darren, an absolute CRUSH for me when I was a teenager. So when I spotted him playing craps in a casino when I was about 27, I had to go over to him. I said "I've absolutely adored you for years, I can't believe you are here in person"...and then I said "that sounds silly doesn't it"? But he was quite nice and said he would autograph something for me. Another person who was nice was Kenny Rogers. I also met Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle....LL was stand-offish, but CG was nice. I saw Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman and Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfieffer at premieres in NYC, but didn't talk to them. i remember thinking Nicole Kidman was much tinier than I would have thought...just a whisp.
