The Pursuit of Happiness is first on my list because it is based on a true story and is very uplifting, therefore appropriate for this special time of year. Next would be Rocky Balboa. Will probably see Apocalypto next and the others I will not see.

Rocky Balboa, definitely. Saw it two times now.
Eragon was a one-time movie. OK, not great.
Black Christmas. Have not seen it yet. Probably next week.
Night at the Museum was good.
Apocalypto. Sorry, but I do not see movies I cannot pronounce. I do not see movies that everyone is NOT speaking english. Sorry but, I do not CARE how those savages lived in those days.
The Pursuit of Happyness. Forget that they cannot spell happiness right. This is a movie about a hustler looking to make the big bucks. No wonder he is so down in his luck. Why not get a normal job and work his way up to the ivory towers?
And PS, NO COMPANY can hire you at NO SALARY. It is against the law. Sorry, but people do not work for free. You come to work and do a job, you get paid. Ask Walmart...

Eragon could be the best solution.
Here in Italy we have also got many Italian Christmas comedies such as:
"Holiday in New York" with Christian De Sica and "Ole'" with Massimo Boldi.
But I think that Eragon is the best movie for this period.
