From cold my 2001 9-5se starts first time every time. Once engine warms it starts jerking occassionally sometimes cuts out if idling and will not restart via ignition key. Car will at all times bump off. Any ideas maybe coil or fuel pump?

Could be fuel pump, fuel filter or idle control valve or maybe an electoral problem.

Coil / DI casette, vacuum leak (lots of rubber tubing for the engine - assuming it's a turbo) dodgy MAP sensor, when you switch on the ignition do you get a check engine light, by counting the number of flashes you can tell which component is faulty.

your E.C.T (engine coolant temp sensor) is at fault. This sensor tells the E.C.U. to give a Rich mixture for cold starting, the sensor is not working so the e.c.u thinks the engine is cold all the time and is giving to rich a fuel air mixture when the engine is worm and flooding the engine.

the newer, models, have mangement, systems,so sounds like its got to go on machine,a good tunning place will sort out,had the same problem with vw polo, with the unleaded petrol they get carbon roung the injectors, took mine to tuneing place they cleaned and reset the immissons etc, cost £45,but just check cost first, think main agent, might be arm and leg,but just ring first and ask to see if the do free diagnosis report, then decide, dont be frightened to ask mate, thats what customer service is all about, hope this helps, have good new year.:)
