I look for the Devil Rays to end up being that team with the most non World Series appearances in about 100 years or so. If they last that long.

Though I would love to see someone that doesn't have unlimited resources win the World Series, it won't happen. Especially to the Devil Rays, who are one of the worst franchises in MLB. They don't have a loyal fan base, they don't spend money, and their front office doesn't seem to have a committment towards winning. A fair salary cap is the only solution.

No. they gained't even beat there own mark for wins (70 in 2004) this 12 months. they're 19 video games at the back of the leaders the Wild Card Race. They have been 19 video games out of the Wild Card Race at this comparable time final 12 months and ended up ending 28 video games at the back of the Wild Card winner. i think of at season's end you will locate them interior the comparable place place they're now. the 2d worst record interior the AL.

I wish but no. But I defenitily see them making a push in the years to come with all the good hitting prospects they have like Delmon Young and BJ Upton. Just wait, it's going to start getting exciting real soon over there in Tampa.

I'm sorry but the red sox and the mighty yanks have better hitters and pitching.
They have a couple of good guys but not enough guys to win a world series.

I'm sorry, no. They should consider moving the Rays to a market that will appreciate them more.
