Yes. Have you ever seen a dog, or cat, twitch in their sleep, and the rapid eye movements that occur during the rem stage of sleep? Or, a dog may suddenly start moving his legs in rapid motion as though he is chasing another animal, or just running. Sometimes they will even whine or give little barks in their sleep, or a kitten may mew. I believe these are good indications that they definitely dream.

I think so. They are like humans. You can see when they are in a deep sleep, they sort of move a bit, that's when they are dreaming.

Humans are just animals, aren't we? and we dream....
But I'm certain that dogs dream. My dogs will whine or whimper in their sleep. Their noses or paws will twitch. Their ears will move. I've heard my dog sigh in her sleep, a big heavy sigh.
In fact, I read somewhere that the old saying "Let sleeping does lie" comes from the fact that if you wake a dog in the middle of a distressing drream, they may bite you because they don't realize it's you when they're caught in that half-asleep half-awake state.
However, I'm happy to report that I've awoken my dog from her nightmares and she's never tried to bite me. In fact, she kind of looked relieved a couple of times. As if to say "Whew! It was only a bad dream."

Yes, I think so because they have flesh and blood like us. And don't forget that 98% of human DNA is the same as chimpanzee DNA !!!
