James Brown God Father of Soul?

was his funeral a display of respect for the God Father of Soul or a minstrel show the disrespects his legacy for the world to see?

Mr. Brown did his own thing. I think he would see it as a tribute to his life, the good and the bad. Personally, I'm gonna miss the Godfather...but I know he's singing "...I feel good...I knew that I would" !!!
