99 words per minute with 98% accuracy.. I just took a free on line typing test ...and for the record.. there is NO way you could possibly type 160-180 WORDS.. maybe letters per minute. I'm an extremely fast typist and couldn't type 160 - 180

Since I now use a keyboard instead of a typewriter, probably about 70 wpm.
I could type 70 wpm years ago on a typewriter, but we had a deduction for every error, including spelling.
I lost some speed, but picked it back up because keyboards are so much faster than typewriters.
In grad school I was doing about 90 to 100 wpm, but that was on a word processor also.

I usually type around 100 WPM, I'm very accurate.

Wow, my personal record (only consider over 95% accuracy) is 72, but most of the time it's more like 40-45, and if i'm sleepy more like 10!

Not sure, but I know it isn't very many. Probably like 50. I never learned to type properly. I am a 2-3 finger gal, and my hands flow over the keyboard like a piano.....My daughter laughs at me, it is like a huge production.

30-40 WPM... quickest 2 finger typer this side of the Mediterranean :)

i am going to do an experiment now just to check because i don't actually know and at the end of my minute I will count them up but oh God I am running out of stuff to say so better just keep typing random rubbish until the time is up because my hand is hurting, is it nearly time yet? ten more seconds ok I'm done hurrah!
