We took our Christmas tree and lights down the day after Christmas, but we kept little knick knacks up around the house. We'll take those down by the end of the week.
We took down our tree because it was beginning to die and pine needles were Everywhere! The lights came down because our puppy loved to play with the wires, and two of our window candles broke. Usually we would have kept them up for the rest of the week.

We put our Christmas stuff away on the 28th, largly due to the fact that we have 3 kids and it looked like a toy hurricane blew through! It was much easier just to put it all away at the same time....

It's going down today! We always take it down around New Years (sometimes before, sometimes after)...depends on when New Years falls and when we need to go back to work.
