How far would you allow cross-gendered behaviour in your husband? Would you stay with him if he wanted to crossdress? What about if he wanted to go the whole way and have the surgery to become a woman too?

Does changing your gender change who you are in the inside? That maybe what you should think about. There are things you can do "use" when love making. Aslo he/she may want to think about freezing his sperm so you two can have babies later on in life. If you love some one that shouldnt matter. love is love. I know it would be hard. Its easier said then done. And the entire sex change is a long hard painful process and not every one ends up in a sex change.

Why is it that every time something seems to be going wrong we run from the problem instead of facing the problem up front? That is the reason so many marriages today fail. Do not marry someone you can live with, marry someone you can't live without. If he is your husband, then there is a solution somewhere there. You have chosen yahoo answers as your place to get advice and that's good. Counseling is also a very very good way to continue.

Tell your husband you will not be comfortable with his choice and even though you cannot change his mind, you will live a miserable life if he goes along with it. Assure him you will not leave him because of it. Sometimes people do things to see how far you would bend over backwards to stick with them. Prove to him you do love him and be open with him with your feelings and thoughts. If you are not a verbally witty person, write it in the form of a letter. Letters have the ability to strike harder than word-of-mouth.

If you were a woman you'd know where you're limits extend. Therefore, I conclude you are a man pretending to be a woman.

Your question tells me that you are man who is a complusive cross dresser. You have come to the conclusion that you can't stop wanting to look more feminine. You are wondering what it would mean to a possible spouse if you went female 24/7....

Unfortunately, for you, you have no sexual interest in men, and would prefer to be married to a beautiful woman who would encourage you to be a woman too... sorry, won't happen. Normal people understand that it is better for men to be happy being men and woman to be happy being women.

There is no harm with people cross dressing but change of sex once you are married means that you would be staying with a female. Probably he is not happy with his married life. If I were you I would talk to him first and explain him the problems you both will face in your future married life. If he still does not agree and insists on sex change. File a divorce.

Unfortunately he has little choice in the matter. There is not much you can do or tell him to make a difference. Unless you decide to be supportive. This does not mean he does not love you.

No, I wouldn't stay.

I have absolutely NOTHING against people who do that kind of thing. It's really their decision.

However, I married a man. I want to be married to a man. Having a sex change would change the dynamics of everything, and it wouldn't be fair to me to stay in that kind of relationship.

Personally, You would have just seen smoke from my heels I would have been running that fast. He has identity issues and if you don't, you need to get a divorce fast. Try to start your life over and remember the problem is not with you it is with him. You will not have a normal life if you stay with this guy/gal. Move on and be glad he told you alot of people keep that stuff in the closet. RUN, RUN, RUN.

You obviously allow him to go so far so it depends on whether you love him. How long has it been going on? Since you were married or after?

The main reason for marriage is because it is supposed to lead to procreation. That is a little difficult without all necessary attachments don't you think. How would you feel about a lesbian relationship with your "husband"? Doesn't sound right, does it?

Draw clear boundaries and seek counseling. If he wants to become a lady (and you married him because he was a man) then you have a huge problem. You should separate until he (or she) figures out who they are.
