I am assuming Halo is a video game.
My husband says video games allow him to relax and think about nothing...to veg out.
I think it also has a competitive notion to it.

It's just not men. Im a 30 yr old female who plays many hours of Halo when I can...Its fun and addictive....

It can be for a couple of reasons that already have been listed. It can be to relieve of stress, to have fun with their friends, simply to just relax and there are those that don't have lives as they say, but overall its just for fun.
