Does it really matter? Even with public record and overwhelming evidence of atrocities, the "trial" he received was questionable. They rushed to kill him so closely to his appeal that no time was given to proper revue. It wouldn't have mattered who was on trial, the Name was to be killed... the Power was to be killed... the Past was to be killed. Forget about truth, justice and humanity.
