Nope, no coincidence. I also downloaded the Explorer 7, and my computer choked. I did find that by using CC, "Crap Cleaner", that my pc is running smoother. Its free to use, and it cleans errors quickly. Good luck!

What the hell is a new explorer? Internet Explorer? The new version is fast and great, but it may have compatibility issues with other software on your PC

Get Firefox. Dump IE. It is trash. Go to "www.firefox.com

I would uninstall it and install moziia-firefox as your browser, try that its better.
