With my two kids the doctor gave us exact dates, well at least they said they were exact dates.

They can make a good guess by looking at the ultrasound and based on when the woman's last period was. But it is not exact. Like if a woman is trying to figure who the father of the baby is then the only way to tell is a paternity test, if she had sex with each of them on close days.

They can estimate, that's about it. They could never really pinpoint anything conception date or due date when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. And my friend they moved her due date up 3 times by a whole month so no I don't think they can give an exact for sure date of conception or due date.

A women can do it if she knows her body and pays attention and takes some education on how her cycle works. There is a doctor in the midwest who can do it based on his class and treatment that he does to help women get pregnant, determine why miscarriages happen and overall gynelogical health.

Yes - if you are unsure of the dates (like you don't remember when your last period was) you can get an early ultrasound for gestational dating purposes.

yes, if the woman remembers when her last period was. Also later on in the pregnancy, he can tell by her size.
