testing the bandwidth?

hi can anyone pl tell me how to find the bandwidth (in Mbps)of a comput. using ping command or by any other commands in DOS?

If by bandwidth you mean speed? You'll need to run some benchmark test program and analyze the results. You should be able to find free benchmark software.
