My favorite... Gabriel García Márquez. One Hundred Years Of Solitude is a great novel.

I enjoy the writing of Isabel Allende, and Clarissa Pinkola Estés. I believe they both live in the U.S., but their origins and subject material are influenced by Latin American culture.
