If you use a spirit or alike you will damage the wood permanently however if you take a very thin sheet of sandpaper and do just the affected part the wood remains intact and you can then apply a little of varnish to finish it..☺

There is a special adhesive remover for that kind of glue. Pick a place that is out of sight to try it first as some of the solvents might strip the finish off the floor. Removers for lots of messes are to be found in the paint department of your local hardware. That should be your first stop.

You can use acetone, or if you're afraid that will damage your floor, dilute it with a little bit of water. I recommend using fingernail polish remover with acetone in it. It's gentle, but will take that super glue right off!

Then, polished it with floor wax. It barely showed.

Try a product called Hornsby's lacquer and varnish remover. Use tung oil to revive and protect the area after removal.

I would think anything that will get it off will ruin your finish of the flooring. Be prepared to re sand and stain and varnish.
