numerous times to keep a great account they will deal
I've been given gift certificates and cold hard cash..
usually doesn't have to go to court..
and don't go with that attitude..unless you have to..
banks are accountable..and have a chain of complaints..you have to show the courts you tried to work it out..
courts are busy with real live criminals..and do not want to actually be bothered with a clerical error...
so try to work it out..file your complaints and keep track of all your attempts..last resort ..use the courts...be sure your right..

I've heard of people getting quite a bit back so it does work, but open a new account with another bank before doing it!!!

Yes - dh and I received all charges from past 6 years, well worth doing but be prepared to start small claims court proceedings.

not sued them, but they charged me £25 for writing a letter that I proved to be wrong, and they refunded me the £25. But, because I was annoyed, I wrote to them to complain and then charged them £25 for MY time, etc., saying that as they could charge me for a letter then I could charge them. And they paid!!!!

yes my brother has they gave him £4000 back and he only sent them letters he didn't go to court or anything like that.
if you have been done over by your bank i say go get it back
