It started slowly, but I can't believe it's almost over. I spent all but 3 months of it over here in Iraq, so the days kinda blended together, since I don't watch the news every night or keep up with the TV shows. I guess it's easy to keep track of time when you know the days of the week by what's on TV.
Anyhow, I wouldn't have traded any of it for anything. I made some very good friends and met an incredible girl (then lost touch with her), so all things considered, it was a good one.

It went slow for me because I measure time by the changes (most of them for the better, I think) that I go through in life and I went through a lot this year. The person I was a year ago seems very distant now which makes it seem like the year was very long.
