i used to get bored too. it may be that you are not mature enough in that area yet. there is also the VERY real possibility that you have a teacher who is unable to present the material in a way that excites interest in students.
when i returned to colllege years later, i found that what i could not do back then, was now not that difficult, and that i even enjoyed the "puzzles" presented. regardless, it is something that everyone must get thru as a right of passage. hang in there.

It is an abstract subject and even otherwise intelligent people who shine in other subjects often find maths challenging... though there are many with much abstract intelligence who love the subject and manage very easily to employ the formula's and computations quickly...
Apart from one's own endowments to understand a subject, the type of teaching is also important... Not all maths teachers who are qualified in the subject, able to teach the skill effectively and effortlessly...
The problem in the understanding of the subject may be a reason for your feeling lazy in that class... Don't lose heart... talk to your teacher about your problem... or your parents who may arrange to give you a support through someone good at teaching the same during weekends.. just to put you in the groove and once you start understanding the abstract ideas, you may need not additional support any more and the classes will become interesting...!

Stereotyping...In our culture we were told over and over that Math and science classes are boring. Now we started believing in it and not paying the needed attention.
These subject build upon each class. Every class acts as foundation for next class. If you miss the basic concepts, rest of the classes will end up being more difficult to follow, and you will feel bored or lethargic. Get a tutor or a fired to teach the basics. You will then really enjoy those classes.

Not all people understand maths, it is sometimes very illogical, and you might think its useless, sometimes, if not all times, it is! Maths is probably not your thing, and I think you should speak with your school shrink if it is a psychological or physical problem!!!

application, not abstraction should be taught. ADD has replaced the word BOREDOM. Get some pills from the teacher before he gets fired for being incompetant.
