Most companies block those ports because they dont want software like P2P or MMORPGs run on thier system. There is no way around this unless you have a friend in the IT department that will set you up....

Use Bittorent and set the ports to Port 80 only and use the HTML interface. Or, get some compatable proxy software and use a public proxy to reach the rest of the world.
