I am a 23 year old male and have been dating a 36 year old female for 4 months now. I never thought I would date someone that much older than me but i have been friends with her for a year and a half and the more I got to know her the more I knew I had to ask her out. So far its going very well. Its not about sex either. We have not had sex. I don't know if its just her or the age or what but she is more independent and less needy than the girls my age that I have dated. My mom is very needy and I always hated that. I don't think that I am looking for a mother figure beacause she is so much different than my mother.

I think most MAY Be looking for a "mother figure". If this question pertains to you, watch out. I'm not putting everybody in that category "in a jar", but think about it with me for just a second. What could someone who is more than 5 years younger than the 32 yr. old have in common with them other than possibly good sex? How can you talk to someone that you can't talk to if you're past a certain year because they weren't born yet?

23 or 33,it's like this...If you've got it,you got it. You don't,you just don't. I've seen plenty of times where a 35 yr. old look 3 times as better than a 25 yr. old and vice versa.

A guy I was with recently, who is 5 years younger than me didn't care at all about my age.

I wish I knew. I am 32, own my own home, and am somewhat accomplished, and dated a 25 year old this summer. He said he felt intimidated by me...maybe because he wasn't as accomplished as I am who knows. I think we were very compatable sexually and we were both happy in that department. :)

Hey I was 19 when I had my first sexual experience, she was 35. If you like younger guys, go for it, some guys like older women, some don't. What about you? Do you like younger guys?

it depends on what kind of a guy u r talking about. it differs from people to people ( usually they don't find them much intresting and friendly. some think like an aunty )
