Am trying to find out what Virgos and Capricorns elements are? Does anyone know?

...if you are referring to sun-signs these two are earth by tradition.
but here let me expand.
virgo is earth/mind....capricorn is earth/soul....taurus earth/body.
notice both are practical (practical is earth because of the practice of applying mind/feelings within the material realm and body...this is how earth natures such as taurus/virgo/capricorn are classified).
now please realize that we each no matter what sun-sign(season) we are born under have mind/souls embodied so we each will respond to these personal facilities. so there is no definite hard-line responsibility to one or the other.
we each must know and respond to what is of our own natures.
the reason i classify taurus as earth body is because of the very personal nature of the sign. (taurus rules silence. personal silence. do not underestimate their silence. for in silence all is known. taurus is a feminine(passive) sign following masculine(active) aries. and taurus is about personal management. which means they don't feel compelled to share what is valueable to them with anybody else except those of their personal intimate network. and when taurus speaks it is eloquent if they have well developed ideas and it will be embellished if their own ideas are not well developed. but this is a process of the sign. to manage the ideas of their self by being receptive to the ideas of others (all concepts arrive from the objective world). so often it is true that taurus will not much care about the ideas and experiences of others except what is considerably valueable about these for their own body/soul and kin...but certainly their olwn self because of the imperative nature of the season to build up and support the soul and body by the material world and prior to movements into gemini which then socially integrates by ideas collecting/sharing....by the safety net taurus has worked silently/diligently for to bolster a body to be ready for.
now virgo is practical/mind and the step after leo (which is full self expression/realization....for the purpose to realize glorious soul) but virgo is the season of the suns(souls) awareness of the collective body/mind/soul which it must enter into because it is the only movement out of the hot sun of leo.
virgo is practical mind and seeks to integrate full soul into the human family by services of sharing ideas (gemini square) and bodily practice (trine taurus) to the collective human body/family.
capricorn is practical soul and seeks to lift soul and mind and body to its rightfull origins ...the Creator. this is the mountain that capricorn climbs. and is highlighted by the mountain goat which scales great and treacherous heights with deft mobility manoeuvering but must bring soul because of its polarity to cancer which is the meaning of the fish tail joining the mountain goat. for in cancer personal self nurturance supports efforts and ideals of capricorn. this is why capricorn is the emotional reticent. their emotions support mind and bodies ascent up the mountain which evolves into aquarius to reach the great well of spirit where all humanity and nature may be blessed with spirit selflessly. if you think of aquarius dipping its urn into pisces universal spirit to be offered to all then you will see the connection of all signs.
and you will notice pisces evolution into re-birth. aries.

Water - Cancer Scorpio Pisces
so to answer your question both are Earth signs.
