I saw this expression written in a horoscope. What does it mean in THAT context?

The moon always has the same hemisphere directed toward earth. The Dark Side of the Moon is also known as the "far side". It is the hemisphere we can't see.
The dark side is protected from earthlight, earthly radio signals and other stuff. It's not always dark, as it is illuminated by the sun as frequently as the near side, but we didn't know that when we were coming up with names for things.

Basically the moon has no axis so it does not turn. This means that 1 side of the moon is constantly dark as the sun never reflects off the surface.

The moon spins on its axis once a day much like the earth does. So every night from the point of earth you are standing on you will always see and forever see the same point of the moon. It will never change. The moon looks different from different points of the earth cause they see a different rotation of it. So for us the dark side of the moon, is their light side. Hope this make sense.

Well, it's none of the previous answers... basically, the moon rotates like the earth, and effectively has 'days and nights', as we do here on earth, th dark side of the moon is the side that is currently experiencing its 'night time' , by facing away from the sun...

It refers to the dark face of the moon's surface that is always facing away from us. The moon does not spin like the Earth and one face always faces towards us due to differential gravitational forces.
Also its the title of an album by Pink Floyd
