Yes I agree, especially you just got done cleaning and everyone gets home and it looks worse then when you first started. And nobody can see why you are upset.

I used to be a clean freak. I realized there are much more things in life than cleaning. Don't worry about a "home" that's lived in, that's what makes it a home. I know husbands can sometimes be a pain, but is it really worth it to be upset over? Start teaching the little ones to pick up their toys. Most of all take time for yourself and your husband. Take a day out of the week and ask your husband to help you with some of that heavy duty cleaning.

I'm a husband,
I love a clean house. my wife cleans while I'm at work, I never have time to dirty up let alone place things on the floor or dirty up dishes. my six year old helps her aswell but when ever my wife need help, I am always willing. your husband feels that since he is a man, that is not his duty. well times have changed and a man is still a man even if he helps around the house and not just taking out trash. he'll figure it out one day but maybe not tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me that I REALLY should tidy up &clean my flat! I should begin 2007 with a neat interior...
& for your problem: give your man a ultimatum. Threaten to take away from him something he really likes if he doesn't make an effort (or pays for a cleaning lady, if you can afford it). Might not work, but at least he would know how you feel...

yes it drives me wild but the best thing to do is a little everyday then try and get out of the house more i was constantly cleaning but since Ive been doing a little everyday I'm much happier and my husband has started helping more, without me having to get on his case.remember its not the be all and end all of your life.or you could just kick your fellers bum to get him to help this works also lol
