My dad accidentally tried to download Google Earth onto his very old PC - and he doesn't have broadband, only a dial up connection. Subsequently the PC is working very slowly, and giving error messages saying the hard drive is full. There is a huge file in the hard drive called "index.dat" but I have been unable to delete this. When I try it says the file is in use (even though it isn't open). Any suggestions?

With Google Earth you can virtually travel around all the world and view places, buildings, satellite images and much more...

You can have it for free here: http://bitly.com/1pjVVBC

I'm addicted to it!

index.dat is the main file for the user info and rograms....you just need to uninstall the program from the add/remove programs list, run a disc cleanup, and defrag....also delete the program folder after you uninstall it (if it doesn't delete on its own)
