there's this boy and i really like him and he's always IMing me on AIM,we are really good friends but he told my friend he likes me. And i think he knows that i like him too. So then why wont he ask mee out ? or what should i say to him ?

I think he's shy since he really likes you and he doesn't want to spoil the close friendship he shares with you. Try hinting to him more obviously that you like him. Or if you are brave enough, just go right ahead and ask him out! You do not want to live in mystery and anticipation all the time.

Well the problem with him is that he could be very shy. and wont no how to aprouch you on the subject. he proble is stressing makeing the first move so maybe you should do it for him. dont be scared just ask: "Hey......you wanna go out with me" see it is that simple. you may be scared to do so. but if you wont do it then who will! And if he says no then its ok. you might be sad but in time he could ask you later when he is more ready. or you might find anoother guy you like more. Remember.....there is plenty of fish in the sea!

Talk to him in person! That's how everything used to be done lol. Try flirting with him to give him a little hint that you like him. If none of the above works, just say it out loud to him and tell him that you like him. Guys like confidence in girls. And if you can just straight up tell the guy you like him with no problems, that takes a lot! Especially if this guy can't even do it.
So try it.

I assume you are probably 14 or so? He's shy. Asking a girl out is a big thing. He's never 100% certain you will say yes. Just start talking to him.

if you n him flirt and if he gives you compliments he probably likes you but if u don't i advise u 2 stop wasting yo time on him and find someone else because i had to go through the same thing. I know from experience so trust me

Boys are sooo shy. They're also really afraid of rejection, which could explain his hesitancy. If you're feeling brave, feel free to ask him out yourself! It could impress him, and if he says no, you know it wasn't because of your lack of initiative, right? Good luck!! :)

most young boys are very wary or shy about talking to girls at first.and the fear of rejection is a big thing holding him back.If he has been shot down before,it makes it even harder to talk to a girl
