I put alot of thought into this and as my friends and come into the the crematorium I want spirit in the sky (the gareth gates/kumars version) and as the curtains close and the relatives are leaving, I want come up and see me make me smile by steve harley and the cockney rebel. does anyone else have plans for thiers.

I want a party at my funeral ,. and thus some blaring techno music... (e.g darude, tiesto, BT, stuff liek that)

I also want my body to fall from teh cieling with strings attached like a puppet so that it an be manipulated to dance around,...

No plans, not for my own funeral anyway, but I always thought that My Way by Frank Sinatra would be a great funeral song. As some sort of a final "F*** you, I do what I want to" salute...and to really annoy the relatives, one could try the Sid Vicious version. ;o)

Im with CoolKit on the clothing thing, I dont want anyone mourning my passing in black clothes, I want a celebration of my life in bright colours!
As for the songs, I too want Spirit in the Sky but followed by Busted's Meet You There, just because its a song I love.

I must admit, i have thought about it. There is a beautiful religious song that i have got the words to that is sung to the tune of Danny Boy. I'd quite like that. I do think it is important to live for NOW though!

I would like my family to choose because the songs should be something that makes them think of me. my mum said at hers she would like smile, the one that goes, though your heart is breaking etc. my mum choose unforgettable by Nat King Cole when my nan went.
