Did you expect anything different from ignorant leaders who live their lives up their own ****?
As for the so called democratic Iraq Government?
Well the mobile camera said it all.
I feel for our troops out there and their loved ones looking at this fiasco while our leader is sucking up to the money once more.
To top it all the Conservatives want to represent the workers?
The only thing stable but vulnerable is our Monarchy.
Politics has had its day and has failed to curtail the forces driving it. A war to bring freedom to the oppressed is as about as real as so called democracy.
Saddam Husain's treatment, just though it might be, is not compatible with a civilised society.
God Save The Queen.
It's the only game in town in the year 2007.

Well WE did not decide if he lived or was put to death it was his fellow countrymen. The fact that he was hung will provide a small measure of comfort, revenge and closure to his victims surviving relatives (remember in some cases he killed entire family's including kids) The execution of Sadam will serve as a reminder to all despots that crimes against humanity will not be tolerated by the people they oppress the Iraqi people have spoken it will not make things worse most of the insurgents waging a gorilla war over there are not from Iraq (a fact the media will gladly not report or gloss over) His death will never and can never change the crimes he committed you can not UN-spill milk but you do have to clean it up. Take comfort in knowing that at least the Convict was hung and not shot you can reuse the rope but not a bullet.

I agree, it was wrong. Firstly how can we be impartial? The memories are too fresh and we are not saints, we have killed more iraqis than he ever did.
Also, think of this from a historical point of view. Imagine if Hitler had been captured alive and kept imprisoned. What could we have learned about the nature of nations, leaders and dictators? What makes men drive a country to commit atrocities, the process and the historical perspective; it would be psycho-social evidence gold dust. Over 60 years on from World War 2 and we only realise the gaps in our knowledge and what we could have learned from the people who made the big decisions that shaped the world at that time. 60 years from now, how many regrets will we have that we just hanged a man that could have helped us explain countries and men.

Lets come out of the clouds.
He was arrested, tried ,convicted and hanged by the American & English Governments (Two Dictators)
I do not condone what he did if he did all they say but look at what Bush has done in all the countries he has invaded under the flag of peace.
His peace flag is world Oil and World power.
If Saddam done all those things they were done with weapons supplied by the americans.
They armed him for years to their own gain and when they did not get the Oil wells they decided to get him out of the way.
Where do they go next is it Iran and leave it like they left Iraq.
Look at Vietnam etc etc etc etc
The Americans and English should bow their heads in shame for all the 1000s of people they have tortured and abused in the name of peace.
Wake up before you have another 9/11

It's done finished.
As for it not being up to us to see if he lived or died, did he give others that choice? His end was fast, many of the victims he tortured, had a lingering death...
Now we must look to the future to see that we can pull out of Iraq as soon as possible.
We must get things stabilised, and help the people to get back in charge of their own country; with some kind of peace.

The Iraqis decided his final fate, we just captured him for them. Another dictator will come along. It's been 3 years and that country still can't get it's act together even with our troops still there.

It was right for him to die, but it was not for us to decide, the Iraqi judicial system decided on the mans fate and at least there is no chance of a coup to get him back in power now

By 'we' I assume you mean Americans, yeah? The Iraqis tried, convicted and executed Saddam, not America. If you wanna cry about that, go to Iraq and cry to them. All we did was hold him. Besides killing millions of people, he didn't do a thing. Most innocent people hide in holes, didn't you know?
