i have not and won't watched it. my older sons have asked me to let them watch but i won't do that either. they will, no doubt, find it on there own anyway. death is a fasination though. for years ppl have wondered what happens, what it looks like, how it feels. it's human nature.

I honestly think, that for this basic reason that it's who it is. I believe people want proof that Saddam is no longer here. On the other hand, there are other people out there that would like to see someone die just out of curiosity.

As for me, I don't want to see the video of Saddam, the picture was enough proof for me. But then again, everyone has their own opinions...

Apparently there is a certain mentality aroused by watching executions, hangings, or other acts of cruelity to man and animals. Note the French and early American reactions to beheadings and hangings, respectively. Note a form of barbaric anything goes, fighting, which is said to be rising fast in popularity. Note animal and fowl fights to death. I do not share that interest.

I watched it briefly. Much as I despise the man, I don't agree with his hanging. I support capital punishment, but Saddam Hussein's hanging was just too quick and unchallenged. I think there's more to this than meets the eye.

yes I watched it this morning, morbid curiousity. There's not a lot to see, very bad amateur footage and it's all a mad melee of people. Why did I watch it - probably because the video footage was there and to confirm that Saddam did die, because it is one of the great news events of this decade.
Not for the faint hearted though ..

Yes, I've watched it. I have to say I didn't feel sorry for him, the bastard deserved it and more. I watched it because it was him, seeing people hanged wouln't normally interest me.

It wasn't exactly graphic though was it, all you saw was him drop and then the showed the body later.

Hanging was once banned as a public spectacle, now it is making a comeback?

ive not seen it and neither do i want to. its grotesque to see someone be killed in that manner. ok he was no angel but ive seen pics of his body etc and it made me sad. not sad becoz he was innocent but sad coz the whole world was involved, the way the media portrayed it and showed it is disgusting. i hate the media.
