if you are a hardcore gamer get the ps3 if you just want something fun to play with and have a good time pick and also you said that you have enough for one if you get the ps3 that 500-600 USDs and youll get less games but if you get the wii for 250 USD you can get loads of wii games, assoricoes and ect so ill go with the wii and later buy the ps3 when the pprice gos down

Depends what you prefer.
The Nintendo Wii focuses more on gameplay value and immersion rather than heavy power while the PS3 is full in graphics.
BTW, the Nintendo Wii sells for $400 while the PS3 sells for over $800, twice as much as the Nintendo Wii.

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want something that is future proof with blu-ray disc technology, 1080p resolution, wi-fi, and a whole load of great games, then the ps3 is right for you. If you're looking for something new to keep you entertained and don't care about graphics or anything. Then go with the wii, especially for the price difference. The only thing is, the wii has more child based games, like yu-gi-oh, whereas the ps3 has the nba, nfl, shooters, real racers, etc.

An Xbox 360. It has better games, the graphics are equal to or better then PS3 (Blue Ray is overrated and is the Beta of your time) and the on-line gaming is beyond anything Playstation will EVER have. That is a simple fact. If you play on line you have no other choice then the 360.
However, if you never play on-lone and don't like games like Gears of War, Oblivion, and Halo then get a PS3 because the Wii is an embarassment to gaming.

Go for the wii because sure the ps3 has great graphics but the wii actually immerses you in the game (p.s. Get Red steel)

Wiiiii. You can get a Nintendo Wii at http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/aec4a and all you have to do is fill out the survey. I got my nephew a nintendo wii from that site and all i had to do was enter in my email address. If you really want one you should check out the site and get one from there.

Ignore him The Ps3 is only the ps2 with blue ray and wireless internet. But the Wii is compatible withh everything. Its and alsome virtual game consul grat graphics. and when you have nobody to play with you can go strait onlineand ask or call a persons Mii from somebody elses house and you can play there ^_^

I think that you should go for the PS3. I dont like the idea of Wii.
