are those people Indian themselves or have some of these actors achieved international succes (besides Aishwarya Rai)???

Some of the Indian actors and actresses such as Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachhan are international figures besides household names in Asian countries. Yahoo answerers constitute a large part of Asians as well, and that might be the reason of your question.

in todays world everything spreads fast due to international media.even the smallest happenings will be broadcasted to entire world,so as in the world of bollywood indian movies are making good deal money in india as well as out side india.so the actors/actress are very famous;also indian community is evry where in the world ,this also helps.so it is nothing unusal these celebirites are famous around the world.
