It's very tough to get video of stuff that just happens that isn't planned but something like the execution of Saddam Hussein they should have filmed... but instead we got a crappy shot of the executioners talking to him before he was hung and then they turned the camera off... What's up with that? Either show the whole thing or don't film anything at all... you know?

Oh and by the way, without video footage, how do we know he was really hung?

why don't you read my question all the way, first of all I said that the execution that was planned should have been filmed, and second they only filmed to the part right before the hanging.... The only footage anyone has of the hanging itself is from a camera phone by a horrible photographer who must be epileptic or something cuz he couldn't keep the camera still for one second...

Yes, reportedly the official version only films to the point where Saddam reaches the gallows and the cellphone version is of low quality. One good thing about the cellphone video is that it shows the conversations and intent of his executioners, Saddam was mocked by them saying he's going straight to h-ll, then they mentioned their support of one of his political rivals. One voice was heard saying to make sure Saddam stayed on the rope for at least 3 minutes. Saddam was truly in the hands of his enemies - no doubt that they wanted him dead and made sure of it. Makes a fairly good case that Saddam was indeed executed.

Uh....the execution was planned so it didn't just happen. There is footage of it. I don't think there was room for a big Hollywood camera so you could get a HQ version of a piece of loser being hanged. It doesn't matter if they showed the entire execution on ABC or NBC, whatever. People will still bit*h that either it was faked or they showed too much. There's a lovely picture of him dead as a doornail, neck broken, what more do you need?

Yeah, I read your question. More of a complaint but whatever. There was a videographer there and if you saw that footage, it's a bit better than the cellphone. I don't think the small space allowed for a proper camera thus, crappy camera footage, etc. Quit being such a snot. At least I acknowledged you.
