You talking about the City or the County.... Yes, the city has a bad reputation, like a lot of countries theres always a "bad apple" thats usually not as bad as the media make it out to be. I havent been to Limerick city in a few years so i cant comment. The county is scenically beautiful like a lot of the south-west of Ireland.... Good luck if you take the job...

Bloody awful.......
Everyone goes around all day long speaking in nothing but verse. I mean I suppose one gets used to it..... but what will your friends and family say when you return saying something like.........
I once had a job there in Limerick,
The people, however, were lunatic,
They were always a rhyming,
So off with their timing,
These terse group with verse from Limerick!
Think twice hun...... *wink*

Of all the cities in Ireland it's the one I would least recommend, it's nick name here is Stab City, the place is just full of Knackers....

Limerick was known as stab city but its not that bad. its like any other city- it has good and bad places.
The accent will take a while to get used to (but it is easier to understand than the Cork one)
