HEY dont listen to those other responses till you try this. Your fridge may be unlevel which happened to mine. Try to see if a side is higher than the other and making your door unlevel with the fridge. If so prop it with something unflamable till level. I hope this helps.

You've either got too much in your fridge after Christmas, or the magnetic strip along the side of the door has worn out. Go to the shop where you bought it, or the website, for advice. Meanwhile, put some tape on the door to hold it closed.

Taking your word for it that nothing is in the way, call the refrigerator repair man and change the rubber lining of the fridge door. The rubber sealant around the door may have wear off.

You do not supply the brand and model of your refrigerator but it could have cams on the bottom hinge that have broken and are not assisting the door in closing. This happens on many refrigerators and replacing the cams solves the problem.

Check the hinges. If all else fails, swap the door round so that it opens the other way.

If there really isn't anything in the way, replace the gasket....

It's the accordion looking stuff around the edge of the fridge.

Check out the rubber all the way round, and check that something isnt moving in the way as you close it.
