I have connected my PC to my external speakers. Yesterday I found how to change the graphic equaliser settings but today my brain has switched off and I can't find the settings!! Problem now is that it is now set with far too much treble and bass. Can somebody tell me how to find it again?

Go to the Control Panel of your Windows operating system. Click on "Sounds and Audio Devices." On the "Volume" tab, if you clicked on the "Advanced" buttons, you should be able to find it.

this is a common problem, what you need to do is go to start>control panel>sounds and audio>there you will find the name of your sound device and a volume bar(adjust volume from there)
then go to start>programs>and there should be a program in there with the name of your sound card, also check your taskbar by sliding your mouse accross it,you should have a sound icon on the taskbar(it may be called either sound effect,or sounblaster or n/tune)
double click this and then go to the graphic equalizer tab and adjust the treble and bass from there,it would then be a good idea when you have found the perfect equalization save it to a file so you allways have it to hand,to do this just look on the graphic equalizer window and at the box were it says "save" click this and then a documents window will appear and save it there as "sound 1"
i hope this helps mate
happy new year!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
