Bin Laden criticized Saddam because Saddam was not a religious fanatic. He had no love for Saddam. Bin Laden is just a different kind of monster.

Bin Laden probably has no feelings at all about this. He might issue a videotape or an audio tape in a month or so condemning the Americans, as usual, but that's about it. Bin Laden has his own agenda and Saddam Hussein was not part of it.

Seriously, Bin Laden is a wise man like Gandhi. He is untroubled by the departure of Saddam's soul from his body. He knows this is but a step in Saddam's journey. No biggie, in other words. Only materialistic people really worry over this, and consider killing Saddam a great coup.
