Help.........im 14 years old and i weight 6 stone and 4 pounds im 5'2. im all over quite small(petite)like a ballet dancer and my shoulders are boney and horrible..........help!!! i just wanna be a bit bigger...am i gonna be like this forever? and i dont want to eat junk food to put on weight.help plz

im 14 and 5'2 im quite skinnish but my bones dont show apart from in my shoulders but i would like to be all over bigger ive grown up but not out but i dont want to eat junk and ive tried eating more fattening foods but it doesnt work(and fattening foods are normally unhealthy) can ne body tell me about foods that are healthy yet fattening??? my wrists and arms are also very small and im not growing much...help??

You have to increase your calories a day by about 300. Just eat more meat and make sure you eat 3 maybe even 4 BIG meals a day.

I had the same problem. I was always somewhat underweight and couldn't figure it out. But what really helped me was making sure I ate smaller but more regular meals. Keeping it healthy, but filling. Make sure you eat breakfast in the morning, every morning! And then couple that will good moderate exercise and some weight training. Don't worry it's not as hectic as it sounds. Get a pair of free-weights (2kgs each is good for your size) and do some strength-building exercises every morning before school and after breakfast. It will help you bulk up a little, and shape up but it in a good way. Just give you some definition. The hormones are going to really kick in and you'll start putting on weight from about 16/17/18. But if you keep up a good healthy lifestyle you're develop a lovely shape as you grow. A ballerina shape is beautiful - you could have much worse to start with! I was the same, but by 21 I was still short, but fuller, womanly and damn sexy if I can say so myself! Still the same now at 27.

Try a diet rich in starches and protien, don't go overboard cause too much protien with mess your sytem. Try working on some heavier activities from lifting weights to getting a job that requires you to lift heavy objects. You don't want to get fat, you want to build mass. Talk to a nutritionist, they can suggest a decent diet for you and please stay clear of pills and powders. They're not good and taste like mutton.

eat lots of veggies and fruits and drink lots of milk. go to mypyrmid.gov and fill out the information to get your suggested food intake. if you're really worried, see a doctor. good luck!

go to a health food shop and get them to help you i know that there is protein drinks that will put on heaps of weight quick!!!
