you are dealing with a lot of pain and loss. i am so sorry for your loss. you more than likely need some help with dealing with that, there are grief counselors and groups that are available to you, check your local hospitals. i have also found that meditation helps deal with grief, but you either need to find a quided one on tape to help you,if you need help locating such a tape, and are interested, email me, and i will help you find one, or a group in your area that specializes with that type of thing.
for getting immediate sleep, try melatonin, available at most drugstores in the vitamin section, walmarts, puratins pride website. also natural sleep aides are valerian root capsules, again, you can find them at walmart or drug store, catnip tea, health food store, chammomile tea, warm milk..
try writing a letter to your sister, let her know all those feelings you are having. when you are done with it, burn it, let the feelings out. i know that when i am as overwhelmed as you are, the only thing that helps is to write down how you feel. it is amazing.

Below are a few sites that might help you with your loss. My sympathy. could be she is trying to let you know she is alright.
Warm milk with chamomile tea (Lipton's Quietly Chamomile recommended) add a little honey or sugar if you like. Let it steep for a couple of minutes. Be ready for bed -- in 15 minutes you'll be sleepy.
