I understand hate as a concept, but I have only hated one person in my life. This was because he murdered a good friend in cold blood. What I cannot understand is irrational hatred. Hatred and dislike are not interchangeable words, even though some people seem to believe they are. I know there are people who dislike administration policy and I agree with this concept as I myself dislike some of them. However, I would really like to understand what can drive a person to such a powerful emotional state against a person they do know personally. If you honestly feel that you hate Mr. Bush please explain what he has done which so effects your personal life as to inspire this emotion. I know there are people who will misinterpret this question, but I am not passing judgement on your views. I am merely trying to understand them.

Yes.
We live in a world where the tabloid culture is very strong. Most days people would rather be reading about Brittany Spears driving with her baby on her lap than anything important in the world.
The motto of journalists these days seems to be "if the news isn't interesting enough, make something up".
That's what they've done with GWB. The press generates so many hateful, vindictive, dishonest and spiteful stories and rumours that it's hard to keep track, and our tabloid-loving-culture sucks it all down.
If you think about it for a moment, can you remember a single time George has ever disrespected anyone? called someone a name? openly insulted anyone? publicly embarrassed anyone?
The press hates him because he's in power, and many of us hate him because we're so easily duped by the press.

I can't say I hate him, but I dislike him a lot. for several reasons, he lied and continous to lie to the American people. He is fighting terrorism in the wrong country. His "Leave no Child Behind" has become "Leave No Child a Dime" The tax breaks have been so minimal compared to what he has done for Corporate America. He has admended EPA laws to benefit companies and pollution of our air goes unregulated. He's allowed corporations to exploit illegals to make companies more profitable. He's done very little for healthcare.I could go on and on.

Bush is an embarrassment to this nation. Not sure if I hate him but I do think anyone who voted for him should lose the right to vote for being a complete idiot

There are some that may try to slam you for this question because , they do not like debate.....The only thing I can think of, is when he says something he stays the course regardless of the outcome, and I asked many of his supporters, and they all say about the same thing, he is a man of convictions, and does not back down.

I think they are simply possessed with the devil!
Hate is the absence of love. If you hate, then you have murder in your heart.
Pharaohs heart was hardened that he hated Israel and the Word of God.
I'm convinced it is spiritual ( and I would allow flexibility to make that omispectral) Something happens to people to make them vitriolic. Children are not that way.

It's not hate, it's politics. Republicans say Bush cleaned up Clinton's mess, Democrats say Clinton was perfect. If a Democrat gets elected in 2008, Democrats will say they are cleaning up Bush's mess and Republicans will say Bush was perfect. See the cycle?
For the record, I am Republican

I don't know why Bush hates so many people -- Blacks, Mexicans, Gays, union workers, members of the middle class, Iraqis, etc.
It's one of history's mysteries.
