The youngest player in WC 2006 was Theo Walcott,but if I'm not mistaken,he didn't play at all,so if you mean the youngest player that ever played in WC 2006,I believe it was Lionel Andres Messi from Argentina and FC Barcelona.

...i know that Messi was the youngest but i don't know the oldest player. It was most likely a goalkeeper.
