Because "the man" (smokey) hates the fact that "bikes" represent freedom (like a bird )!!! The man wants to keep us all in check and with in their grasp, they cant catch us on bikes! lol (SOUNDS GOOD!!!)

it could be that the loud pipe crowd is causing alot of area's to become very hostile to those that ride. he has a valid argument tho. there's already been reports of more than a couple of towns that's become so hostile to riders, they've banned or denied permits to hold a mc rally there. that's happened already in col.
