why do ghost stick around?

i have a haunted bedroom and everytime i move around my house i feel like the ghost is attached to me.......

There are such things as "people hauntings" where ghost will actually attach to the person. It seems that you only feel the ghost when you are at home, which means the ghost resides in your house. Please listen to me carefully if you want the ghost to leave. Put salt all around your house (outside not inside!), get some holy water from a priest, go all around your house with a crucifix and make the sign of the father, son, and holy spirit. As you do this, tell the ghost to "Go home" and to "Go to the light." After this is done, I suggest putting up crucifixes and hanging them on the walls of every room. This has a high success rate, and if that doesn't work then get out!

Ghost are demons, demons can take any form, I do not think a God, being almighty would, let the dead hang around, even if they had unfinished business to attend to. Demons are fallen angels and have the same power as Angels do. They like to inhabit places were a traumatic event took place. This is called a territorial stronghold. Usually called hauntings. "Stronghold" Greek strong's fortress, or prison-fortified place. 2 Cor 10:3-5. Remember the story of the Gergesene Demoniacs in Matt 8:28-34. (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39) If you’re not religious, you may want to read it. This territory had a stronghold of demons over it, not to mention one man (Personal stronghold-possession) who had a legion of demons in him. Mark 5:9. Jesus freed the man, and in so doing freed the territory of its stronghold/haunting. When the demons went into the swine, the demons did not like the swine, so they drown the swine, this also killed the pigs that the Pagan worshippers used to sacrifice to their God's and killed that business off as well. Jesus healed the land and killed the Pagan worshipping (they used the pigs to sacrifice for food for their god’s) business for a time. My point is, demons are Ghosts and dead people are not.

Since I believe in the spiritual world, all I can say to you is that, when ghosts decide to hang around, they have some unfinished business, maybe they're life was cut short by someone or something, and they don't realize that they are dead, or they are so attached to something of theirs that they refuse to let go....see a psychic, if the ghost is indeed with you, and not your bedroom, then perhaps he/she is trying to tell you something...they can't harm you, but it can affect your life, so see a psychic who is the best at giving you the advice.....good luck and Happy New Year!

Ghosts stick around for a variety of reasons the main ones being they dont realise they are dead, they are afraid of transition,they are attached to a certain place,this one may just have taken a liking to you or have unfinished buisness, they dont know how to move on.

i have the same kind of thing that happens to me all the time i go into my spare bedroom and always hear a little girls voice calling mummy , mummy , mummy , in the beginning i use to get really scared but as i am use to it now it actually makes me feel really calm its a good feeling i get , but i have had plenty of bad ghosts in the past that scared the life out of me it doesnt matter what house i move to it follows me , i have heard the spirits like weak people ( in the sense of being easily scared , and thats me sorry to say lol.

well im not an expert or anything, but ive been told by several people who have studied paranormal activities that ghosts can attach themselves to you..they may stay because they are drawn to you, the house, or the land..if they are drawn to you they could possibly follow u wherever you go..u may need a cleansing..if the ghost is friendly just let them be unless you really want to get rid of them

My ex boyfriend that committed suicide in high school stays with us. He is my daughter's guardian though he is not a ghost, simply a spirit.

Try to burn sage (smoke) in every corner of every room in your house, get into the deepest part of each corner. People don't get all the way into corners. Sprinkle sea salt around the edges of your house, indoor and out. Both of these will help to protect against evil or negative spirits.

The paticular ghost your dealing with is attached to you because he sees something his loved one had either physical or emotional or this ghost was a murderer or something like it and is cling to you to feed his addiction. I suggest smudging(buning sage and moving smoke aroundwith the feather of a birdl, used by Indians to calm and release spirits) yourself and dont listen to scary ghost stories and beleive them even if the story is true.
