She is lacking in something huge in her life--she feels unloved somehow and thinks a child will fill that empty spot--she doesn't need a child all that will do is make her situation worse--Do you know a family with small children (toddler age or younger) that need a babysitter?? She needs to see what it is like to care for a baby for more than a n hour or so--Also does your school have parenting class's?? Or go talk to a councilor and find out if the health dept had class's --something that has the babies that are like real--and see if she will participate in a program that she has to care for this baby for I think its like two weeks--they cry and wet and all the things babies do --Makes teens see that being a parent isn't all fun and games--when you are up all hours of the night and have to go to school and still care for the baby--night life is out too--cant be running all over when its time for the baby to be in bed--

Hopefully she isn't serious. My mother was 16 when she had me. Having a baby for the wrong reasons isn't fair to the child. Remember, she will be playing house for real. It ins't easy raising a child in this crappy, expensive, name brand world. She needs to be a kid first ! She will be much better off if she graduates from high school! Why be a MOM now????? She needs to pick up what I'm putting down here! WAIT for that Mr. Right to come along when the time is right! No one says, I'm proud of my mom being on welfare and waiting for a spot on Jerry Springer!!!

I wrote this poem a little over a year ago, before my mom died. It's nothing special, but it 's me ....from my heart. Hope you like it.

Teenagers so young, they never knew, the consequences and responsibilities of what they were about to do. Unprotected sex, when their parents found out that a baby was coming without a doubt. His parents denied they wouldn't believe. Her parents blamed him and told him to leave.Reputations at stake, so they sent her away, to have the baby on that dreaded day. She was scared and all alone, in this new place, her temporary home. The baby wouldn't come, it was over due. She was so big, and miserable too. The day finally came, a baby girl born. This wouldn't have happened if a condom been worn. Her sad tears and a last kiss good bye, they made her give the baby to an orphanage near by. She couldn't let this happen, fought hard to get her back. She had to be responsible for the baby she had. The kids married, it was the right thing to do. They tried to be a family, but their love wasn't true. She bundled the baby, with tears in her eyes, she left her new husband and started their new lives. The years quickly passed, the little girl grew, she felt something missing, she just somehow knew. Mother had a secret, she kept for so long. It was time to tell her where she really came from. So excited when she fina'lly found out....Where would she find him? Would they still be in doubt?

Pass this to her and maybe she'lll change her mind. God Bless your friend!

Have her talk to an adult who has kids, have that adult explain to her the time and effort AND money needed to take care of a child. Have that adult explain to her how much time and effort AND money it takes to get a good education these days as well. Have that adult explain to her how much education you need to get a decent job these days. I think the best you can do is point out how having a child at this age will interrupt her damn life.

Tell her welfare isn't nearly enough to raise a child. Also get her to baby sit one for a few hours - a teething 5 mth old sounds good. Really your friend is a fool. Better still tell any guy she's with to use a condom or they'll be a dad whether they want to be or not.

Wow that's terrible!!!!! depart! do not flow alongside with your uncle, it somewhat is disgusting and terrible, in the experience that your ever in that subject with him get out! and if hes controlling and could not get off then you definitely attempt to combat back. i don't get why your mom isn't doing something approximately it, that shows a loss of duty. stay with a chum, or yet another kinfolk member until finally its over with. you may somewhat tell somebody who's older and cares, and who will fix it, and if it is severe then flow to the police.

it is not all cutesy time, it is hard work. she will be missing out on her social life BIG TIME! i am 24 and regret having a kid at MY age. chances are, the dad won't even stay around even if he says he will. guys don't want that responsibility at their age! she might be a single mom. is she ready for that if the time comes? does she know what she's getting herself into? tell her to snap out of this dream world she's living in and enjoy her youth! life comes at you FAST! don't be in a rush to grow up!

Tell her to grow up. Wait until she has her own house, life, job, car etc.. and see if she has the time or the money to afford a kid as they're VERY expensive and time consuming.

Having kids is no baby stuff. Tell her it needs maturity of grown up woman to give birth and raise her children into responsible and respectable citizens. I'm sure she doesn't want to raise street urchins.
