Doesn't matter how bad the person was, he was still a human being.
I know it's available on internet and you can see it on telly but ... I just think people should have some sort of respect. Those last moments of his life should stay private, not for the whole world to watch. Surely he has family, people who loved him, how terrible it is for them to see all that?

The execution was filmed to prove it took place but not for any other reason and I cannot imagine it would be shown on tv as public execution is illegal under international law.

I think the whole idea of making a photo opportunity out of an execution abhorrent

i dont think so,but its disgusting if its being televised on TV. i know he was cruel but at the end of the day u still need to understand that he was one of us.
and one should not cut jokes on a dead person.

I'm not sure that they will officially televise the whole thing. They will release pictures of him dead though.

HOWEVER, I'm sure that somehow pictures of the event will appear on the Internet via unofficial sources.

Saddam is already dead they hanged him at dawn this morning... and if they did have the hanging on film then they are sick... if you really want to find out more look on local news...

they wont air his actual execution, its not allowed however they will show the part leading up to him getting his last necktie. CNN will only show the black cloth being put around his neck.
