I am sorry, but your facts are incorrect. Saddam's hanging was in a private place and only certified officials could attend. They were carefully screened and each had a function to perform. No American attended the hanging. The trial and hanging was strictly an Iraq procedure. Most of the specially chosen people there were Shiites. I wonder if the world will view carefully doctored photos of the hanging? I guess they are necessary to prove that Saddam was really executed. And don't think he is in heaven with his 72 virgins. He is in hell setting up a regime with Satan.

technically it still is public since the video is being broadcasted all over and yeah. i think i am in favor. its for the best. its better this way, at least we all know it happened thought there is still a little space of error (granting they messed up the tape and didnt really kill him, though the probability is quite small). iraq is a country filled with people who give significance to symbols... when they took out hussein's statue way back in 2003 or 2004 a lot of iraqis went to it and spit on it, kicked it and the like. they feel a certain need in doing this. not much of idoletry or the lack of it but more of a symbol that the dictatorship is finally over. so i guess public execution or at least the showing of it on tv is okay. its for the best...

it is not us who should play god. it would have been much better if he was locked in a cell for the rest of his life and made to think about what he has done. knowin he'll spend the rest of his life alive there. by killing him its an easy way out. he wont feel the pain he inflicted on many thousands.
the people who conducted his execution will feel the wrath of God, trying to take the power. God gave us life...he is the one who should take it away. anyone who imitated God iz gon get it big time !!!!!

No, I am against any form of execution, and dismiss the nitpickers who argue that it was not public.
And when judgment is rendered on Bush....?
