I know right? I don't see the point either! I don't know what the people that came up with the death penalty were thinking, cuz we haven't the slightest idea what happens after someone dies. I mean there are lots of religious theories and stuff, but even that doesn't make since because don't most religions claim to believe that only God can judge you? So how could Christians be for the death penalty? That's pure hypocrisy. (Sorry I got off on a tangent) Yea but either way I still think that if you committed the crimes on earth you should be punished here on earth. That's it end of story.
BTW CleverGirl: I have to respond to your comment because it is just so damn ignorant. I am in no way saying what that man did was right, but for you to imply that we should kill someone because they are wasting your money???? Truly dumb. If I had time I could sit for hours and name all the things that money is REALLY being WASTED on that are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR LESS important than a human life!!!!!! Scumbag or not, everyone deserves the chance to pass in there own time, and to have their oppurtunity to make peace with whatever it is they need to make peace with before they die. Having that taken away (and using MONEY as an excuse!!) is beyond terrible, that is not something I would wish upon anyone. ever. And just so you know, an attitude like that is gonna produce some seriously negative karma.

Jail costs money. Why pay to keep some loser alive when he or she had no value for human life? Jail isn't that bad, believe me!
Face it, money makes the world go round. I see a loser like him sitting in jail as money being flushed down a toilet. Him sitting in jail isn't like a normal person sitting in jail and regretting the sins of their past. He had no remorse whatsoever. If you have no remorse, and you're basically being taken care of for the rest of your life, where is the punishment? Prisoners have more rights than you realize and his prison life wouldn't have been a hard one. I didn't know I had to eloborate so much. I figured most people knew he was a sociopath who, by definition, have no remorse!

Seems like those 2 answers above are only concerned about "MONEY", money the sin of our times, the more you get the more you want. The way I see it, the only thing he had to look forward to was jail for the rest of his life, what a blessing to die instead of facing jail for the rest of his life.

Exactly.Death is not a punishment,it's a easy way out for everyone...He should have been imprisoned for life, this would have been a punishment...and it's much worst than death...

Exactely. Now that he's dead he doesn't have to pay for or regret all the peolple he had killed... But they should have put him "in the hole" until he died... That would have been torture enough... But now he's dead so he doesn,t actually have to pay for his crimes... What is probably going to happen is that his followers are going to avenge his death... and we are all going to be vulnerable to their retaliation..
