Has anyone found a good one (creme though not lotion) that doesn't cost the earth? Have tried Nivea but the shades do not suit me. Don't want to put full make up on every day so will help cover blotchy readness. Live in London UK. Thanks.

I'm using Garnier Skin Naturals (Summer Body). Sorry... I know it's a lotion, but there ya go.

It's gradually doing the trick covering up discoloured skin on my lower legs ( long term bruising after a broken ankle). It claims to "gradually build a light tan"... be carefull as it tans thicker hard skin faster than softer skin, and wash it off your hands or you end up looking like a chain smoker.

I'm happy with the results so far, but anything's better than pallid white legs with old bruises. I'd tread carefully and check it's a match for your natural colour first.
Price... it was about half way up the price range in Tesco last month, so it's not too bad.

Ulay make a really good one, it is about £7.50. for fairly large tube. Also RoC , one of my favourite makes do one about the same size and price. Both can be purchased at Boots.
